I know this UI can be installed on Zimbra 8.8.15 and the Zextras version 9 .. is it possible to install the same way on Carbonio?

Sorry for the moderation issue. I'll look into that and get back to you.

About the Classic UI. Currently, Carbonio CE does not have Classic UI integrated into it. For the time being, you do not have any other option.

That means you will not be able to disable the preview.

Ok so the next obvious question is how do you enable this classic UI? I searched the forum and found only a reference to class of service so I adjusted the default cos to reflect classic and it did not change. Also adjusted the user's cos and again no change was made.

How to activate the classic UI?

I am talking about Carbonio CE. Zimbra has a similar feature.

Are you using the classic UI/Iris UI of Carbonio CE? Right now only classic UI has this feature.

We are talking about the Carbonio Web Client here correct? I have no view option. I just have an account drop down with an icon of a user that says "Feedback, Update view, Documentation (dimmed out) and Logout"

What you describe appears to be available in the ZIMBRA client, not in the Carbonio Client

You can disable the preview from the "View" option (Top right corner of your screen) of your mailbox screen. You can select View > Reading Pane > Off.
