Hi,

carbonio-bootstrap and service-discover setup-wizard needs to be executed only one time per server/node. In case of existing service removal, you just need to remove relevant packages (i.e. apt remove carbonio-tasks-ce carbonio-tasks-db carbonio-tasks-ui). pending-setups and PGPASSWORD BOOTSTRAP is not needed.

For installation, you need to follow this order:

  • apt remove carbonio-tasks-ce carbonio-tasks-db carbonio-tasks-ui
  • pending-setups
  • PGPASSWORD=$DB_ADM_PWD carbonio-tasks-db-bootstrap carbonio_adm 127.0.0.1

I just have a small single server CarbonioCE 25.3.1 on Ubuntu 20.04 where I removed carbonio-tasks-ce, carbonio-tasks-db and carbonio-tasks-ui as I has so many error messages.

One comment I got was that I should run the

PGPASSWORD=$DB_ADM_PWD carbonio-tasks-db-bootstrap carbonio_adm 127.0.0.1

after the "pending-setups -a" but the guide say "carbonio-bootstrap" (maybe same as the "carbonio-tasks-db-bootstrap"?) and "service-discover setup-wizard" before "pending-setups -a".

I have now removed the carbonio-tasks.

Before upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 I want to reintrall carbonio-tasks again to see if it works now. Does anyone know the correct steps to install carbonio-tasks?
"apt install --dry-run carbonio-tasks" just shows "carbonio-tasks" so it is probably not that easy.
I am on Ubuntu 20.04 and CarbonioCE 25.3.1.
Maybe not "carbonio-tasks" and I should perhaps install carbonio-tasks-ce, carbonio-tasks-db and carbonio-tasks-ui instead and then do some other tasks?
Can someone check what packages for tasks that I should install and guess the steps?
