@daddycool thanks for sharing. The thing is I am new to SPF, DKIM and DMARC so I hope it will go smooth enough.

Also Zimbra is a split-dns setup, fetching mail from a relay using POP so this will be a different setup with Carbonio because I am planning on getting rid of the relay bits.

@rosch I did the same, zero response from Synacor. I have a new Carbonio CE server up and running with a new domain that does not exists on the old Zimbra OSE server. Everything is working, I especially like how certificates works on Carbonio. Now I "only" need to migrate everything from the Zimbra server. A rather daunting task but I'm working out a plan. :)

ps: I asked Synacor (Zimbra) for a quote for the paid version but after 3 weeks of silence I am definitely giving up on them.

Dear all,

I would like to test Carbonio CE next to Zimbra, meaning I will have the same domain but two live systems.

Is there a way to do this? I take it it's tricky since there the email message can only be delivered to one system.

Might the best way be to set up a sub-domain for live testing and then

- switch off Zimbra with the main domain

- change from sub-domain to main domain
