I have just upgraded to Carbonio 26.6 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, and I noticed that relayhost and smtp_fallback_relay are no longer working.

The issue occurs whether I configure them through the Admin Web UI or via the CLI using:

removed link rounded-3xl">

removed link overflow-clip rounded-3xl lxnfua_clipPathFallback">

carbonio prov ms maild.micropc.cloud zimbraMtaRelayHost 192.168.253.23:26
carbonio prov ms maild.micropc.cloud zimbraMtaFallbackRelayHost 192.168.253.10:26

Even after restarting all Carbonio services with:

removed link rounded-3xl">

removed link overflow-clip rounded-3xl lxnfua_clipPathFallback">

systemctl restart carbonio.target

the settings are not applied.

The LDAP attributes are correctly stored:

removed link rounded-3xl">

removed link overflow-clip rounded-3xl lxnfua_clipPathFallback">

carbonio prov gs maild.micropc.cloud | egrep "RelayHost|Fallback"

zimbraMtaRelayHost: 192.168.253.23:26
zimbraMtaFallbackRelayHost: 192.168.253.10:26

However, Postfix is not configured accordingly:

removed link rounded-3xl">

removed link overflow-clip rounded-3xl lxnfua_clipPathFallback">

postconf -n | egrep 'relayhost|smtp_fallback_relay'

returns no output.

If I manually configure Postfix with:

removed link rounded-3xl">

removed link overflow-clip rounded-3xl lxnfua_clipPathFallback">

postconf -e 'relayhost = 192.168.253.23:26'
postconf -e 'smtp_fallback_relay = 192.168.253.10:26'

everything works as expected.

It seems that Carbonio is no longer regenerating or applying the Postfix configuration from the LDAP attributes after the upgrade.

Could you please verify whether this is a known issue in Carbonio 26.6 or if there is an additional step required to regenerate the Postfix configuration?

I'm also having this issue. Brand new installation of Carbonio CE 26.6.2

If i manually edit main.cf in /opt/zextras/common/conf/ and change the relayhost to what i need then it works. But whatever i enter through the admin web gui it doesn't reflect it here and therefore doesn't use the SMTP Relay unless i set it here manually.

This wouldn't be a problem but we're migrating from Zimbra and it's already failing at the first step so i wonder what else doesn't work through the web gui that i don't even know yet and will probably encounter in production when it's going to be too late.

I would like to report that the issue has been resolved. I upgraded to Carbonio 26.6.1, and this problem has been fixed. After configuring the following settings through the Admin Web Interface:

zimbraMtaRelayHost: 192.168.253.23:26
zimbraMtaFallbackRelayHost: 192.168.253.10:26

everything works perfectly.

Just as a side note zimbraMtaRecipientDelimiter is also not applied anymore.

I upgraded from 26.3 to 26.6 and now it is no longer possible to work directly on files/documents via the Docs/Drive module's web interface.
When clicking a document to open it using the integrated Document Server, the system incorrectly redirects to the standard HTTPS port (443) instead of using the custom port configured in the system (10443).

I have already verified the configurations via CLI, and the parameters appear to be set correctly at both the global and domain levels:

zimbraMailSSLProxyPort: 10443

It appears that the Carbonio Docs UI/Proxy ignores the port specified in the proxy configuration and defaults to port 443.
Environment details

Prodotto: Carbonio Community Edition (CE)

Versione Carbonio CE: 26.6.0

OS: Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

Porta Proxy HTTPS configurata: 10443

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a solution?

We also upgraded to CE 26, and found that it is no longer listening on the smtp ports 465 or 587. Also, chats no longer work - no idea why at this point.

Is there any suggested upgrade path from 24.7 to latest ?
