Unless I missed something, this is not supposed to work: Carbonio is not a front-end to the LDAP server.

If you use external auth, you should disable the password change feature in Carbonio so users don't try to change their password this way.
Because changing the password this way will change the local password (the one in Carbonio's LDAP) not the one in your OpenLDAP server.

After I deployed carbonio and connected it to the openldap server, the password verification was fine. However, I found that after changing the password of the ldap account on the web page, it seemed that carbonio did not update openldap. I have configured the password hash of openldap to sha-512. Is this a bug, or does it require subsequent updates to solve it?
