As a long time Zextras patron I am wondering what the strategy is going forward?

Would Zextra fork 8.8.15?
Build a new GUI?
Shutdown?

I am researching my options now and hope to have my roadmap outlined by the end of July.

After installing the network version of Zimbra, I realize that Zextras is working with Zimbra (Zimbra drive).

Great, my question, you have to install Owcloud / NextCloud absolutely, or we can choose, one or the other ...

It would be nice to be able to separate the disks/volumes for backups per domain and have seperate retention option. If you have multiple customers (domains) on one server and one (domain) wants (needs) a certain retention (say 30 days) and another customer (domain) wants (needs) less retention (say 7 days) you can separate them on different volumes. And when they leave the server you only need to discard that volume but still maintain the volume reserved for the other customer (domain).

On a hosting environment you can then add en remove disks (for which you pay monthly) when needed.

Does this make sense? Or is this already doable?

Since Zimbra includes Amavisd-new, PolicyD and Postfix, it's perfectly capable to deliver a multi-stage anti-spam control.

Currently this is a glaring gap between Zimbra Opensource and Network editions.

(Zimbra's file preview leverages the opensource and free LibreOffice installed at the server end.)

a feature I am missing with Zimbra is a desktop (Windows) sync application for files in Briefcase.
Yes, there are some file sync applications with WebDAV backends. However, first of all they do not really work* and second they have no shell integration. I would prefer a similar interface as TortoiseSVN or Dropbox.
I don't know if this would be an interesting product for ZeXtras, since it is not part of the server side. But I would definitely like it.
