I wonder what is exact version of MS ActiveSync protocol in Zextras MobileSync?

Documentation assumes version 14+ .

But what does it mean? It supports features from original ActiveSync 14 implementation and later versions (till current 21th) or it means that support for exact 14th version is present with some additional protocol extentions from Zextras?
