Same issue, i tested 1.6.1_release, the server is in 25.12.0,authent error.

In the log server :

"GET https://mail.fqdn.tld/zx/auth/supported HTTP/1.1" 502 1288 "-" "Carbonio Mail - Android - v1.6.1_release - API36 - M2101K7BNY" "127.78.0.1:20008" "xxx.yyy.zzz.113:443"

We have the same issue. In nginx.log we see the following in addition to the log line in the previous comment:

2026/02/17 14:21:37 [info] 737174#737174: *329 client closed connection while SSL handshaking, client: 127.0.0.1, server: 0.0.0.0:443
2026/02/17 14:21:37 [error] 737174#737174: *330 recv() failed (104: Connection reset by peer) while reading response header from upstream, client: 194.xxx.yyy.zzz, server: mail.domain.tld, request: "GET /zx/auth/supported HTTP/2.0", upstream: "http://127.78.0.1:20008/zx/auth/supported", host: "mail.domain.tld"

It seems that ` http://127.78.0.1:20008/zx/auth/supported` is not working correctly, which can be verified with

$ curl -v "http://127.78.0.1:20008/zx/auth/supported"
* Trying 127.78.0.1:20008...
* Connected to 127.78.0.1 (127.78.0.1) port 20008 (#0)
> GET /zx/auth/supported HTTP/1.1
> Host: 127.78.0.1:20008
> User-Agent: curl/7.81.0
> Accept: */*
>
* Recv failure: Connection reset by peer
* Closing connection 0
curl: (56) Recv failure: Connection reset by peer

Any idea how to fix this?

Hi @sharif

Version 1.6.1 does not seem to fix the error either.

Has there been any progress on this issue?

Thanks

@sistemak-imh @fernet @philifort

I see the the latest app version is:

version 1.11.1_release

Screenshot link

I would request you all to try followings:

1. use version 1.11.1_release

2. Do not use self signed certificate while login. Therefore, deploy free (Let's encrypt) or commercial certificate and then try to login again.

Let me know.

@sharif version 1.11.1 is for Chat not Mail, unless there's a Mail version 1.11.1 coming, but not available yet in the Play Store?
