Hello everyone, Happy New Year!
I hope you're doing well. I'm facing a challenge with the domain URL used when sharing files under "Collaboration links," and I could use some guidance.
Current Setup:
- Deployment: New Carbonio CE single-host setup (Ubuntu 22, Carbonio version 24.12.2).
- Server Configuration: Configured with
mx1.main-domain.com
. - Status: All services are running smoothly except for
carbonio.service - LSB: Carbonio Services
, which is failing to start. - Email Functionality: Email is flowing without issues.
Additional Details:
- I have a second domain configured with a virtual host (
mail.second-domain.com
). - Email and SSL certificates for this domain are functioning correctly.
The Issue:
When I share a document file, the URL generated is: mx1.main-domain.com/services/files/invite/xxx
However, I would like the URL to use the second domain, rendering as: mail.second-domain.com/services/files/invite/xxx
This behavior seems inconsistent with my expectations, as I hoped the domain in the URL would align with the specific account's domain.
Question:
Is there a way to configure Carbonio CE to dynamically use the domain (<xxx-domain.com>
) based on the account in use?
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
