Hello everyone,
After updating my Carbonio CE installation to version 25.6.1, I started encountering an authentication issue during login and a secondary problem within the Chat module.
When logging into the web interface, the following error appears:
Although I can proceed past the login screen, once I access the Chat module, I receive a warning at the bottom of the page:
“There may be problems using this module, please try refreshing the page.”
Refreshing the page does not solve the issue. The chat interface loads partially, but no existing conversations are shown, and it only offers the option to “Create a new chat,” without any functionality.
Everything was working fine before the update. Other modules seem to function correctly.
Environment:
-
Carbonio CE version: 25.6.1
-
OS: Ubuntu 22.04
Is anyone else experiencing this issue with the new version? Any known fixes or suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you!
And when updating, did you delete the old chat module and install the new one as written in the update instructions?
We are experiencing the same issue with chat not working. We are also using ubuntu 22.04, and have upgraded to carbonio 25.6. We did remove the old package and installed the new -ce version, but it still does not work.
In looking further into this, we looked at the postgres databases. carbonio-message-dispatcher-db seems to have all the appropriate tables, but for example carbonio-ws-collaboration-db does not have any tables at all in it. I have tried running all the bootstrap scripts, and none of them created any tables in this database. What is supposed to set up these tables?
