Good day
After updating Carbonio CE to 23.9.0 on Almalinux 8.8, all icons in the Carbonio admin panel disappeared.
Help with the solution.
Thank you
Hi,
Sorry to hear about your trouble.
I humbly request that you check the issue on any Carbonio CE-supported OS (i.e. Ubuntu 20.04LTS, RHEL8). Though some other OS like Alma Linux8 or RockyLinux8 share similar code bases, it is strongly recommended to use the officially supported OS(Mentioned above).
As our entire development process is focused on supported OS, it would be very difficult for us to get back to our users with any practical help regarding Carbonio CE on top of any other OS.
I hope you would understand.
Regards,
Sharif
Same issue here with "Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.8 (Ootpa)".
I think it might be related to RedHat OS.
Thanks
Giovanni
Upgrading to 23.10 doesn't fix the issue.
Admin UI on RHEL8 is still unusable.
@snb,
Hi,
Sorry to hear about your trouble.
Could you please tell us a little more about what you are facing?
Including:
1. You host OS version.
2. Is it a new installation/upgradation?
3. If upgradation, what was your previous CE version?
4. Have you had trouble accessing your previous version's CE admin panel?
Thanks and regards,
Sharif
Hi,
Upgrade to version 23.10.0 solved this problem for me.
@sharif
My host release is "Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.8 (Ootpa)"
The upgrade that broke the install was:
Upgrade carbonio-webui-4.0.27-1.el8.x86_64 @zextras Upgraded carbonio-webui-4.0.25-1.el8.x86_64 @@System
The previous admin web panel was working fine.
Upgrading to latest available version doesn't fix the issue.
Hello,
I have still this same problem on Rocky, service-discover doesn't start after update and I have broken GUI. Look at: https://community.zextras.com/forum/carbonio-general-thread/problem-with-23-12-0-and-23-11-0-on-rocky-linux/#post-7006
Can anybody help me ;-)? In 24.1.0 was resolved problem with keystore, but GUI is broken.
