I installed a mail server carbonio 23.10 a while ago.
The server has hostname mail.x.y.
But my 'main' domain, instead being named "mail.x.y" is just "x.y"
So i have the admin account named zextras@x.y and not zextras@mail.x.y
How do i change this domain name ?

Hi,

The easiest way is to create a new domain "mail.xy" and rename existing account become zextras@mail.xy

@imanudin11 Ok, thanks
But do i need to config something on this new mail.x.y domain as 'main' ?
How do i tell carbonio to use zextras@mail.x.y as admin account ?

Hi,

You can set mail.xyz as default domain. Whenever you create new account, you can select mail.xyz domain. For admin account, you can tick Global admin option to make that user as admin. Or you can do by CLI (zmprov ma account zimbraIsAdminAccount TRUE)
