We're thrilled to announce that Carbonio CE now fully supports Ubuntu 22.04 LTS! Take full advantage of the features Ubuntu 22.04 LTS has to offer with Carbonio CE.
Contact Group Creation
We've supercharged your contact management in Carbonio CE! It’s easier than ever to create a contact group with our new feature. Through a user-friendly interface, you can conveniently add members to a group by typing directly in the contact input or selecting a proposed option. These groups help you distribute your messages more easily by inserting these groups into your emails and taking communication to the next level.
Distribution List Management for Users
In the upcoming release of Zextras Carbonio, we are introducing an exciting enhancement to the User Distribution List Management feature. Users will now have comprehensive control over their distribution lists, with the ability to view the lists they belong to and manage them efficiently. This update provides a seamless experience, distinguishing between read-only access and management privileges. Users can effortlessly add or remove members, adjust ownership, and fine-tune distribution list settings according to their organizational needs. With these enhancements, users can confidently streamline their communication processes, even extending the utility of distribution lists beyond organizational boundaries.
Enhanced Quarantine Management in Admin Panel
In the forthcoming release of Carbonio CE, administrators will experience a significant upgrade in quarantine management, marked by a myriad of advanced features. With the ability to fine-tune threat detection accuracy through the evaluation of different score values, admins gain nuanced insights into message severity. Furthermore, the integration of score and reason values in the message detail view empowers administrators with a deeper understanding and informed decision-making capabilities regarding quarantine actions. This release streamlines threat response, allowing admins to promptly delete infected attachments and deliver clean message bodies directly from the interface. Additionally, the inclusion of features such as downloading and sharing messages with recipients or deleting them ensures swift and efficient threat mitigation. The introduction of the "Show Original" option facilitates rapid remediation by enabling admins to download emails directly from quarantine.
Simplified Login Experience for Users
The latest update to Carbonio CE webmail introduces a streamlined login experience, eliminating the need for users to type their full email address. With this enhancement, users can now log in using just their username and password, enhancing convenience and efficiency. Administrators have the flexibility to configure domain-specific virtual host names, ensuring seamless access management across various domains. This improvement prioritizes user experience and simplifies the login process, providing clarity on default domain association without additional user input.
Enhanced Contacts Management with Export/Import Functionality
Carbonio CE users now benefit from enhanced contacts management capabilities with the introduction of export and import functionalities. With the simple "Export" option accessible via the right-click menu, users can conveniently export mail contacts to CSV files. The feature ensures smooth handling of errors during CSV file imports and excludes contacts in sub-address books for a streamlined experience.
Displaying Profile Pictures in Chats Creation Modal
Carbonio Chats now displays profile pictures of known users in the “add participants” modal. When selecting users with whom the user already shares a one-to-one or group conversation, their avatars will showcase their profile pictures, enhancing recognition and engagement. This thoughtful enhancement ensures a seamless and visually enriching experience, fostering stronger connections within the Carbonio ecosystem.
Customized Time Zones for Scheduling Appointments
Carbonio now offers users the ability to select their preferred time zone while creating appointments, facilitating flexible scheduling across different locations. This intuitive update streamlines the appointment creation process, ensuring users can adapt to diverse scheduling needs effortlessly. Particularly beneficial for organizations with remote employees.
Equipment and Meeting Room Management
The upcoming Carbonio CE update introduces a dynamic input feature for Equipment and Meeting Room selection, offering users a seamless experience. Users can now effortlessly search and filter Equipment options by typing in the input field while scheduling an appointment, which dynamically transforms selected options into chips. Validation ensures only valid options are visible upon appointment saving, while availability information is conveniently displayed.
