After upgrading to version 24.9.5, one of my customers is experiencing difficulties when creating new folders on some of his accounts. These accounts have a large number of shared folders with other accounts on the same domain. Some folders are shared among 5 accounts.
I’ve verified this issue using Chrome, Firefox, and Opera on Ubuntu.
When attempting to create a new folder, the browser's pop-up window opens as expected. However, the browser quickly begins consuming excessive local memory, causing a spike in CPU usage. Eventually, the page becomes unresponsive and hangs.
This problem does not occur when there are no shares or only a few. There are no errors on the server side, but I have to mention that I have a slow hard disk.
Could the slow hard disk be a valid cause? We did not experience this issue in previous versions.
Has anyone else encountered this behavior or have any suggestions for a workaround?
