Hi,

In my Ubuntu 20.04 LTS server when I am running the inst_repo_ubuntu.sh script, it is returning the following error -

Err:4 https://repo.zextras.io/release/ubuntu bookworm InRelease
  403 Forbidden [IP: 52.85.234.71 443]
Reading package lists...
E: Failed to fetch https://repo.zextras.io/release/ubuntu/dists/bookworm/InRelease 403 Forbidden [IP: 52.85.234.71 443]
E: The repository 'https://repo.zextras.io/release/ubuntu bookworm InRelease' is not signed.
Carbonio Repositories has been successufilly installed

Can you suggest any solution to this issue?

No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
Release: 22.04
Codename: jammy

But Ubuntu 22.04 is not supported... you must use Ubuntu 20.04 =)

I believe I have installed with Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS installer but somehow it updated the OS.

My point is, it should be working fine even on Debian.

Thanks, will do that. Like me, many users want to use it professionally and 20.04's support will end just next year. Which may be a concern for many. It would be great if you could consider latest Ubuntu or even on Debian, which will have longer runtime. 💛

Hi,

I can understand your concern and our team is also aware of these facts. Therefore, we are working around the clock to make updated distros available for Carbonio CE. All I can say right now, we are very close to make CE available for updated version of supported OS (Ubuntu and RHEL). But till then I'd request you to stay with us with your valuable feedback.

Have a good day! 🙂

Regards,

Sharif

@sharif Many thanks brother for your understanding. You guys did a great Job. Have been using Zimbra since last 13 years and it is very disappointing, they have discontinued the community edition. Best of luck to you and your team. 💚
