For such a mature platform, I was surprised that there are no official Docker images available for use as the platform seems perfect for it. But I also understand that it takes contributors to sometimes make that kind of thing happen.

I am about to embark on creating my own custom images. My preference would be to launch that effort as a "community" effort and make it part of the officially supported way to deploy Carbonio. As best as I can, I will share things here on my efforts. If there is a way to officially contribute that back to Zextras so that it becomes official I will gladly do it.

For those with a similar desire, I encourage you to contribute and express your interest. I'm definitely confident I can get the platform working in Docker as a multiple container application stack, but that's somewhat different than doing it in a supportable way. So I will share what I do here, but any advice or instructions that would help get this officially incorporated to the solution would be great.

My plan is to share the steps to create individual Docker images for each of the Carbonio CE modules. If these steps mature to a certain point, I hope Zextras will adopt them as official, incorporate them into the CI process, and publish them on Docker Hub or another Docker image repository.
