I already installed Zextras Carbonio on Rocky 8. Almost everything works at this point accept that after log-in to web client on mobile (Android 10) I can see only grey screen without anything. Log-In screen works fine (I can enter email and password) and after that I can see carbonio logo for a moment and after that blank (grey) screen.

Nothing suspicious in logs.

Can anyone tell how to get mobile web client working? Even if I switch to PC version (on mobile) I still see nothing. Mobile is Samsung S9, but I checked it on Samsung S10 and S9+ also.

I have the same problem on my iphone (iOS 16.3.1).  I actually saw the same behavior on my PC using an older version of Firefox.  I'm wondering if they broke compatibility with javascript somewhere.

Same issue here. Running Carbonio 23.4.0 (latest).
Login page is able to authenticate, then it will display a blank screen.

Is there any solution or update for this issue please?

Same problem here: On mobile device (iphone) Login page is able to authenticate, then it will display a blank (light grey) empty screen.

Hi to all,

probably carbonio web ui doesn't support mobile browser.

Please check carbonio mail app on app store ( ios )  or play store ( android ) .

The Carbonio app has the same issue. Log-In screen works fine (I can enter email and password) and after that the app closes automatically.

So: Running the latest version of Carbonio CE: No access to web email, neither via browser or Carbonio App on a mobile device (!)

Iphone 12, IOS 16.6 (20G75) and latest version of the app out of the appstore

More people have reported the same issues and the app doesn't work because also browsers do not work on a mobile device, https://mydomain.com for webmail I mean.

Also Carbonio is up to date, latest version of all components. The server installation is 3 weeks "old" and running on Ubuntu.

Any solution please? This is a major issue and is a showstopper for going to use Carbonio CE

AFAIK there is no plans to make Carbonio CE webmail work on mobile browsers. You may focus on using Carbonio APP ou any other email client. I do like and use BlueMail btw.

You are assuming webmail will not work. If you have a closer look you can see Safari is being supported and also in Safari the webmail authenticates and then shows a grey screen (data doesn't load). The Carbonio app crashes after authentication which has probably the same reason as why webmail doesn't work.

So again: Carbonio team please investigate this issue and provide a solution please.

There is only a solution for people with a strong spirit!

1. In a mobile browser, switch to the full version.

2. Rotate the phone horizontally.

I will assume that the screen resolution is less than necessary for the correct display of elements.

@horizon i opened a ticket zx team .

They answered that web ui mail is designed only for desktop, probably for the next future release they will fix that giving a suggestion to download mobile app.

About the problem that you have into app they will release a new a new app with a fix, no eta for now.

Hello mgarbo,

thank you, this is clear to me. So hopefully the Carbonio mail app is stable soon so users can use the app on mobile devices.
