service-discover: error: hostname 'mail.abc.com' is resolving with loopback address, should resolve with LAN address

Specify the binding address for service discovery: xx.xx.xx.xx24
Create the cluster credentials password (will be used for setups):
Type the credential password again:
service-discover: error: hostname 'mail.abc.com' is resolving with loopback address, should resolve with LAN address

It seems your server hostname is resolving the loopback address rather than the LAN address.

Could you please check the output of following commands:

#hostname -f

#ping mail.abc.com

#cat /etc/hosts

Also could you please share the below mentioned information:

Server OS version:
Carbonio CE version:
