Hello everyone, another newbie here.

I am trying to change the port used to access webmail from 443 to 8443

I have tried via GUI:

  • Changing Domains > General Settings > Public Service Port to 8443

I have tried via CLI:

$ carbonio md [MyDomain] zimbraPublicServicePort 8443

Restarted services, restarted server but webmail remains at 443.

Am I doing something wrong?

This is not the parameter I must change to get my goal?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Miguel

@isobytes

Hi,

8443 is already been used for internal HTTPS services.

https://docs.zextras.com/carbonio-ce/html/install/requirements.html

Is there any reason to change the default HTTPS port?

Regards,

Sharif

Hi Sharif, thank you very much for your reply.

Sadly, our router does not allow to NAT 8443 port because it says that this port is used by its own stuff.

We are changing it, but in the meanwhile we wanted to change the webmail's port.

What is the port field for?

Regards,

Miguel.
