Hi,
Carbonio CE is currently optimized for a specific set of supported operating systems. While Rocky Linux 8 shares similarities with some of them, it’s not officially listed at the moment — so some parts of the installation might not behave as expected.
For the best experience and smoother setup, I’d recommend using one of the officially supported OSes listed here:
That way, you'll be aligned with the environments tested by the Carbonio CE team, which usually makes things easier during installation and maintenance.
By the way as pre-install check (For RHEL based OS): make sure followings
- disable SELINUX
- proper hostname and /etc/hosts configuration
- configure Zextras repo
Hope it helps.
