Hello,
yesterday I decided to upgrade my carbonio multi-server installation and I found one issue during the upgrade.
For each node, after the dnf upgrade the file /opt/zextras/conf/localconfig.xml will be reset and the nodes are not able to start, fortunately I backup the file for each node and after the upgrade I restored them and restarted services.

I hope this can be helpful to zextras guys to fix it in the procedure and also for other folks that will be in the same my situation.

Regards

Amedeo

hi @a.luciano, this sounds quite strange, because we test the upgrade processes before releasing the packages. From which version were you upgrading? I will add this information to the report I'll send to our developers. Thanks!

Hello @stefanodavid, I upgraded from Carbonio Community Edition 22.11.0 to the latest version Carbonio Community Edition 22.12.0.

If you need more details let me know, I'm still have the snapshot of the virtual machine before the upgrade.

To upgrade a multi-server system to the latest version, you should follow these steps (summarized):

Backup all important data and configurations
Research the latest version and check compatibility with existing systems
Plan and test the upgrade process in a non-production environment
Coordinate the upgrade across all servers, ensuring minimal downtime
Monitor the system after the upgrade to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
This is a high-level overview and the exact steps will depend on the specific systems and configurations involved.
