I have set up a new Carbonio CE server with the Z-push container as outlined in another post. Most of my clients are able to connect to the server however "some" Outlook for Windows seems to have problems even though it's supported by  Z-push. Some clients keep getting a "Waiting for server response...". I have removed the devices from Z-push, however they are still unable to connect. I remove and downloaded the container again, but still no resolve. Logs show this for failing devices, but can' find information about how to fix:

From z-push-error.log

Outlook use to be a little box of bad surprised...  and Z-Push os not 100% compatible with all versions and types.... I only suggest it to be user with mobile devices anyway.

This is too bad because I really liked the product however my client needs exchange to work on Outlook (desktop). Also I noticed the version in the container is 2.6.4 and the latest is 2.7.1. Any plans to upgrade the version or develop a process to upgrade?

Well... when you need compatibility with proprietary software, specially MS ones the way to go is to buy a certified connector. In Carbonio's case it means use Carbonio Pro version paying it's licence.

About Z-push version in the container I have no plans to upgrade it because the "zimbra" connector inside of it is no longer being maintained so there is nothing to gain from z-push upgrade anyway.

@sharif

I have done that and they just said that my installation is too small to provide a quote, but if I was aware of the minimum number of accounts I could see if it is feasible to increase the numbers

Just my 2cents: Z-Push Zimbra backend is still being maintained on a open source base --> https://sourceforge.net/projects/zimbrabackend/

If you have any troubles log a bug report and usually liverpoolfan will take care of you.

Also I was able to run Z-Push with Zimbra backend on a PHP8.3 version (but for self compiled Zimbra 9).
