With ZeXtras installed & in-production on Z8, I'm working on retiring my own backup scripts.
One capability that, iiuc, is missing from the Zimlet UI is flexible backup rotation scheduling, e.g. support for typical "grandfather-father-son" hierachies ...
Scripting @CLI is easy enough, where shell access is authorized (e.g., http://forums.zextras.com/zxbackup/64-where-has-scheduling-external-backup-gone.html#post349 ).
Are there current/public plans to implement 'advanced' scheduling, allowing for configuration of multiple rotation schemes as well as alternate backup location targets (e.g., RotationSchedule #1 -> /opt/zimbra/backups/zextras, RotationSchedule #2 -> /some/remote/mount/path), in the UI? In particular with delegated Administrative privs, this is rather useful to have.
