Hi All,
Would it be possible for you guys to test ZxMobile with HP webOS? I use 2.2.4 on my mobile phone and ZxMobile/webOS works very poorly at the moment. Since I've never used the phone with a real Exchange account, I don't have anything to compare against.
I would like to expand testing to other devices (iPhone, Blackberry, and Android), but this is the first one (mine) and its not looking so hot right now.
Some examples of the problems I've seen:
1) EAS Inbox does not appear to persist on the phone. Lots of synching every time I went to look at the Inbox and minutes later a list of emails would appear. Battery levels dropped rapidly.
2) The one test email I sent to myself was never marked as read despite having read it.
3) Address search in Compose Email mode matches incorrect addresses when a partial address is typed (I have several addresses that begin with the word member and the "match" does not show all of them, only the description of the first address (Firstname Lastname), and the last address)
4) No calendar items ever showed up in the webOS calendar. Though all possible calendars were listed and several were selected for display, no items displayed.
5) No tasks items ever showed up in the webOS tasks app. Exchange was an option on the list of task lists, when selected no tasks appeared.
There is an emulator available as part of the webOS SDK that may provide a suitable test environment. I know that webOS is not exactly a thriving platform, but it is my day-to-day device and I won't be getting anything else soon (prying it from my cold, dead hands would be required). I would appreciate any interoperability improvements for ZxMobile/webOS!
