I was wondering if anyone has used the zextras migration tool with any success in real life situations?
I have made several attempts to use this tool but as it turns out it will basically fail to restore most - around 98% - of mail items.
So for example migration from one server running Zimbra 8.7.11 to another server running Zimbra 8.7.11 will only migrate 2% of mail items.
The log file contains one type of error: size not found in metadata.
Are there alternatives for this utility? Or is Zimbra just stuck on a specific OS and version once installed?
At this point Zimbra is a bit of a disappointment it looks like. No way to keep it up-to-date and safe.
