I have a Zimbra server with Zextras suite that runs in a virtual machine. The server is setup with a network disk mounted under /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras/ so the real time scanner should have written everything to the network disk up until the Zimbra VM stopped working this morning. The VM would not restart and I had to restore from the last VM backup of 5 December, so a week ago. The restored server has come up without any problems and has reconnected /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras/ to the network disk so the mail boxes are now in the state they were on 5 December. The real time scanner is running and I was hoping the mail boxes would be automatically restored to the point this morning before the server died but this doesn't appear to be the case.
Please can someone tell me how I get Zextras to restore mail boxes to the state before the server died from the real time scanner data under /opt/zimbra/backup/zextras/ ?
