Hello everybody!

Due to the default behaviour of Microsoft Outlook 2013 when performing the first sync, which is:

- subscribe to all folder
- get all items
- parse all items
- display items

the first sync might be very slow and seem stuck with a "Waiting for server response" message.

In order to improve this situation, you can limit the number of per-folder downloaded items by lowering the "Window Size" parameter. This will limit the number of items synced per operation for all devices (usually most mobile clients request 10 to 25 items, Outlook requests all of them).

To do so, please run the following command as the zimbra user:

Code:
zxsuite mobile setProperty ZxMobile_WindowSizeLimit 25

This way, all clients will be allowed to sync 25 items per sync operation regardless of the number of items requested by the client.

Have a nice day,
Cine
