Hi,
i'm currently testing Zextras on a zimbra ZCS 7.1.4 server. We have an LDAP server, an MTA, and of course, a "MailBoxServer" on which we have installed Zextras.
The testing network does not have access to the internet.
But this testing network is a clone of the target network on which there are the production servers.
The servers have been copied (we use bare KVM hypervisors currently) from production to testing network.
So, the problem is : i have followed the install procedure, initialized zxbackup, tested, OK.
I plugged a wifi (linksys wrt54gl) AP to an ethernet port of the hypervisor, put the eth port to the bridge (we use bridge as a virtual switch) of zimbra testing network.
So, it basically works, and a Galaxy S (1st gen) have access through the android browser to https://zimbra.our-organization.fr
BUT the "e-mail" app does not find its way to server ("Impossible de se connecter au serveur." in french, so i believe "unable to connect to server" in english).
BUT, my motorola (which is cyanogenmod4milestone) works through "e-mail" app (had a problem with viewing e-mail but i think it's because i've set to "never sync", however browsing directories works, and the exchange setup is cleared easily and fast).
We have several domain names, and i'm testing with an account which is of a secondary domain.
An idea ?
The workers will principally have Galaxy S 1st gen, or iphone 4/4S.
parameters:
Domaine : nom d'utilisateur "otherdomain.eu.comtestuser"
Mot de passe "the password"
Serveur Exchange "zimbra.our-organization.fr"
i just seen that device is in 01/01/2005 instead of 2012... is it ok ?
