I am trying to deploy ZeXtras Mobile on my Zimbra server. (zextras version 1.2.7, zimbra version 7.2.0)
I configured my ipad and iphone to sync with the server (using a Microsoft Exchange account in iOS). Since I'm located in Germany, I receive mails with umlauts (like äöü) in it. These mails are displayed correctly in the zimbra web-interface.
But in iOS in some emails the umlauts are not displayed correctly.
Mails with UTF-8 encoding are displayed correctly (for example: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"; Content-Disposition: inline; Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable). But in mails with a local encoding, like ISO-8859-15 or ISO-8859-1 (for example: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15; Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit) instead of umlauts there are strange characters.
With other mail systems I use on the ipad (like syncing with a Google Mail account using Exchange account in iOS) all emails are displayed correctly.
Is this a bug in ZeXtras Mobile? Anything I can do about it?
