We have discovered a strange behavior related to the daylight saving time change ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time ) and how the calendar events are managed.

On October 26 we left daylight saving time, and the invitations for calendar events that are generated today for a date after October 26, do strange things.

An invitation received in carbonio (from another carbonio user) for October 29th from 12:00-13:00 is displayed  from 10:00-11:00, two hours earlier than the real time.

In the receiver agenda view, however, the same invitation is shown with the real time: 12:00-13:00.

But if we double click on the agenda entry, it shows the wrong time again, but this time one hour ahead: 11:00-12:00.

We have made several tests, and this strange behavior only occurs with those invitations that are now generated for a date after October 26th.

I don't know if there is an option to upload screenshots to this post, but if possible I could upload them to see the behavior better.

Thanks !!

@sistemak-imh Thank for your report.

1. Can you confirm that all your tests (event creation and visualisation) have been made with Carbonio and not with other clients?

2. Did you create a single of recurring event?

I'll report the behaviour to our developers, thanks again!

Hi @stefanodavid

Yes, all our tests (event creation and visualisation) have been made with Carbonio, and had been creating a single event.

Thanks !
