Hello!
After waiting so long (more than 60 days) for a version to fix the numerous problems in version 25.9, today they released 25.12 (Thank you all), but it seems there are still SERIOUS problems.

The installation went well, but again (this has already been addressed in other topics) when trying to access Webmail (443) and AdminWeb (6071), I receive the message:

Something went wrong. We’re sorry, but there was an error trying to load this page.

I tried some procedures from other topics without success.

I don't know if it's a BUG, so I didn't open the bugs page....

More information follows.

I encountered the same issue, but only admin interface xxx.xx.xx:6071, user webmail works correct - after upgrading from version 25.3.1 to version 25.9, I got the same error. While troubleshooting, a new release, 25.12, came out, but the error persists.

Did you check the auth module state?

su - zextras
carbonio auth getservices

Then, if not running:

carbonio auth doRestartService module

i try to copy folder /opt/zextras/admin from old server (25.3.1) to new and this resolve my problem - now admin and user webinterface are working,

please check the files in new releases!

Hi!
Interesting, now both admin web and user web work?
Let's see what Carbonio support has to say about this...

Hi!

Neither command exists (at least not with that syntax).

root@carbonio:/home/carlos# su - zextras
zextras@carbonio:~$
zextras@carbonio:~$ carbonio auth getservices

zmprov [args] [cmd] [cmd-args ...]

@sharif

The problem, as we are seeing, affects several users (another one in this case), including those in this post and others (as I linked to another post), with problems related to upgrades and new installations.

OBS: After change file /etc/janus/janus.jcfg, problem not fix yet.

More information follows.

Neither command exists (at least not with that syntax).

You're right.
These are Carbonio commands, not Carbonio-CE, I'm sorry.

Carbonio (licensed one) has a CLI tool (carbonio-advanced-cli.jar) that is called by the "carbonio" command (it looks like the "zxsuite" tool in Zextras Suite). It allows to interact with Carbonio (check internal services states, start them, etc).
There's a full folder (/usr/share/carbonio-advanced-cli) with jar files in it.

I was suggesting this because the broken login page (webmail and webadmin) this a known issue that is linked to the Auth service not starting correctly.

I'll dig a bit more about this and come back here if I find something.

After copying old files to the current version, it seems the problem lies within those files...

Just throwing my experiences in here as well.

Upgrading from 25.6 to 25.9 earlier in the year also presented me with the "Something went wrong" error when trying to access both the admin Web UI and the WebMail UI.

Obviously, rolling back to the pre upgrade snapshot brought everything back to a working state.

The same occurred when attempting the 25.12 upgrade.

I can confirm that copying the /opt/zextras/admin and /opt/zextras/web folders from a 25.6 installations over the 25.12 upgrade does restore web UI functionality, however this surely is not a recommended solution as we're now running on a 25.6 / 25.12 hybrid file mix.

For what it's worth I'm running Rocky Linux 8 as my OS so I use the RHEL 8 installation sources

@jim1985

Thank you for the complete information.

Again, another update that seems to be broken, after almost 90 days with version 25.9 completely broken.

This new version is supposed to fix it, but that's not what we see.

How much longer until a truly "good" version is released??!!! More than a week and still nothing.

It's very difficult to trust Zextras....
