We currently use a barracuda spam filter and I am trying to find out of Carbonio has MTA settings for out going mail like Zimbra does.

Hello @parsecdata,
Currently, Carbonio CE has no settings in its Admin Panel to send emails to any external relays (i.e. Barracuda ESG). As Carbonio CE is based on postfix, you can however use the CLI command to set relay MTA for external delivery as below:
Format:
zextras@mail:~$ carbonio prov ms mail.example.com zimbraMtaRelayHost External_relay Server:port
Example:
zextras@mail:~$ carbonio prov ms mail.example.com zimbraMtaRelayHost mail.testdomain.com:25
Check the status:
zextras@mail:~$ carbonio prov gs mail.example.com | grep Relay
