Change of folder for an email asking me for a read confirmation

I don't know what it's called in English, but when I receive an email with a request for acknowledgement of receipt, if I change the folders, the software asks me again to validate the confirmation (even though I've already done so). Any idea where this might be coming from?
At the moment, I automatically refuse requests for acknowledgement of receipt.
