Why is fighting spam in Carbonio so unclear and poorly documented ?

Last time I also updated first with apt update command then with the https://docs.zextras.com/carbonio-ce/html/upgrade/upgrade.html
I don't know if this is another bug in version 25.9, but as you can see, the forum is full of topics reporting various bugs and problems in this version, for more than 30 days.
It's really complicated, it may or may not be... however, since you're using Ubuntu 22.04, which in principle should have fewer bugs (but there are still some).
Which version were you using before upgrade Carbonio?
Last couple of days I see much more spam. Spam that is so obvious spam that I want to see if the spamfilter is working.
I looked at the file /opt/zextras/conf/salocal.cf.in and noticed all my previous settings are gone. Is this due to an update or is this normal behaviour ?
Okay, unfortunately I stopped using Zimbra's native antispam a long time ago because it's not the best nowadays, and consequently the same is true for Carbonio, but if it suits your needs, there's no problem using it.
Regarding the file being overwritten, in Zimbra that was the standard with each update, so I believe (I'm not sure) but it should also be the same here in Carbonio...
