this one is pretty big. I cannot type an email address in the to: field il the webmail.
as soon as I type a dot the UI catch the already type text and get it as email so user@domain.com is impossible to type, I always got user@domain
... it may be an keyboard type related bug. I got an AZERTY keyboard.
the only workaround I found is to got on another page and copy/paste the email adresse, So it works if I just Ctrl+v (paste) it.
NB the same apply if II type in the search bar, it stop at the (dot) and search for user@domain (without TLD)
@dominix I admit I am shooting in the dark, but have you tried to use a different keyboard layout?
no, I did not try, a web service is supposed to work whatever is your keyboard layout.
it works if I use the dot from the digital keypad of a regular 105 key keyboard.
not if I use the dot from the letters keypad, which is made by a combination of shift+";" I guess it is the ";" that is interpreted as an email separator without carring from the shift.
weird bug but sad bug.
@dominix, I talked with the developers and they told me that this is a reported problem, specific of AZERTY keyboards. They will work on the issue, but I can not provide an ETA for the resolution.
on my side carbonio is on test. not yet validated for prod. so I will wait till (most off) the bug is fixed.
This issue has been fixed in 22.12, so as soon as you upgrade to that version, you should not experience this annoying problem anymore. Can you give it a try?
Thanks you in advance!
I will ! .....................................................
