The mobile application for Android version 1.2.8 cannot authorize after 24 hours from the moment of installation. Reinstalling the application solves the problem for 24 hours.

In version 1.2.7 everything worked correctly.

The IOS version behaves similarly. And reinstalling the application solves the problem for 24 hours.

Hi MAX,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm Nicola, a member of the Mobile Apps development team.

Thank you sincerely for sharing your feedback with us, your input is invaluable to our ongoing efforts to enhance our application.

To better assist you, could you kindly provide additional details about the issue you're experiencing? Specifically:

  1. Are you encountering a situation where you are automatically disconnected and redirected to the login page after 24 hours, with no option to log in again unless the application is reinstalled?
  2. Could you clarify if you are logging in using a QR code or entering your credentials manually?
  3. Additionally, is 2FA authentication for mobile apps enabled on your server?

Your insights into these questions will help us pinpoint the root cause and work towards a swift resolution. We appreciate your time and cooperation.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

Nicola

@dmnicola, Hello and thank you for your attention to the problem!

I also want to thank you for solving the problems with the inability to send mail from the mobile client in version 1.2.6: https://community.zextras.com/forum/carbonio-general-thread/carbonio-mail-app-dont-send-mail/

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the problem of push notifications not working in Android and iOS:

https://community.zextras.com/forum/carbonio-general-thread/push-notifications-in-android-and-ios-mobile-applications/

I answer questions about the current error:

1. Yes, the application is logged out, and an attempt to log in with a username and password results in a pop-up window indicating the impossibility of authorization.

2. I log in with my username and password.

3. No, 2FA authentication is disabled.

Thank you for your attention to the problem and for the excellent mobile client for Carbonio!
