Hello,
I installed Carbonio CE a few days ago to test it. I would like to add a logo to my e-mail signature and when I drag and drop the image, it disappears when I leave the page. I've seen that there's a button to add an image but I have to indicate the source. Can you tell me if this is possible? What should I put in the source field?
Thanks in advance 🙂 .
Same problem.
Is it possible to add pictures as a file to a custom signature?
Yes it is totally possible and I have done it many times.... here is how:
1 - Upload your image to your "Files" area;
2 - Select you Image and go to the "Sharing" tab;
3 - Roll down til you see the "Public links" area;
4 - Click on the "Add link" button;
5 - Click on "GENERATE LINK";
6 - Copy that link clicking on it
7 - Now go to your Signature setup;
8 - Click on "ADD SIGNATURE" button;
9 - Give it a name;
10 - Click on the "Insert/edit image" button;
11 - Paste the image URL on the Source field;
12 - Be sure that URL starts with "https" instead of "http". If it's "http", fix it adding the "s" =)
13 - Play around with Width and Height, til you get it the way you want;
14 - Click on the top right corner button "SAVE";
NOW IT COMES THE IMPORTANT PART
15 - Right after click on that "SAVE" button, logoff the webmail and log in again. Do not go to Inbox. =)
Hope this works... it does for me.
Enjoy!
@anahuac Thanks a lot. But I would like to add images using regular drag and drop. Or use html code as a signature (for example Mozilla thunderbird).
Got it... well, in that case I think the best tip is step 15, from the list I sent you above.
And if that doesn't work.... well, now you have a workaround to get it done.
