I am coming from using Zimbra with Zextras package, and am playing around with Carbonio CE. It is possible to easily backup CE? Do you install the zextras package and go about it that way as before?

We are glad that you found Zextras Suite useful with your Zimbra OSE. No, it is not possible to use Suite with Carbonio CE, although you can use Carbonio to get the features you're mentioning.
