Can't call method "tzid" on an undefined value at /opt/zextras/libexec/zmsetup.pl line 2990, <> line 2.

Used the form to register for the Community Edition but are still waiting for the expected email with instructions to arrive

Was hoping to take it for a spin - checked my email and still no-go at starting the engine!

Is there a bug in your outgoing registration email?

Sunny regards,

//Johan

Hi Sharif; could you update your first post with correct links to the single-server installation procedure?

Also I tried to follow them but were asked to download binary packages. Could you point me to instructions how to install Carbonio CE from source? I'm particularly interested to contribute to the collaborative editing tool.

Hi,

Right now, Carbonio CE officially supports Ubuntu 20.04LTS and RHEL8; therefore, I request that you go with either one of them. In this case, you do not need to build anything on your own. You can get the repository and instruction details by filling out the form at this link.

You can complete the whole setup by simply following the instructions.

Also, you can check out this forum post for more insight about the installation process.

I hope it helps.

Thanks and regards,

Sharif

@sharif Can you update the description on https://zextras.com/carbonio-community-edition ? Right now it states that the community edition, including the collaborative editing, is 100% is open source.

Hi,

So far we have not found anything unusual in the outgoing email registration form, but as you have mentioned, I would request you to fill out the form one more time and if possible write us at @zextras.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">marketing@zextras.com mentioning this issue.

I am sorry for the trouble you are facing.

Let's try again.

Thanks and regards,

Sharif

@sharif @anahuac: I only found binary packages inside the ubuntu repo, that's why I thought there was no source code. But now I found https://github.com/zextras/carbonio-build and working my way through it. I can write down the steps to build from source once I manage to do so, as a separate post. Sorry for taking premature conclusions and thanks for your help!

@kalvdans

To be honest, I was quite puzzled when I read your post yesterday, then I also went through a couple of our repos to check if the license or the build instructions were missing... but nice to hear we're on the right side.

I am not sure how many people might be interested in building Carbonio from scratch, but if you share your findings it would be great. Perhaps we may consider to publish them as part of the docs if they are clear and useful.

Hello dear Zextras team.
Please tell me, is there a plan for Ukrainian localization of the user and admin parts in Zextras Carbonio CE?
Or is there any way I can download the localization package myself?

There are plans to roll out your product for Ukraine.
