we want to migrate from Zimbra 8 to Carbonio CE.
I'm wondering is below multiserver scenario possible in Carbonio CE:
- One node LDAP master + one node LDAP slave (replica)
- Two mailbox servers
- Two MTA servers
- Two proxy servers only for POP/IMAP connections
- Two proxy servers only for HTTP/HTTPS (Webmail) connections

Yes, of course, trying to combine Roles and packages together to fit our needs.
What are these packages for:
carbonio-user-management
carbonio-catalog
And postgres database is required for Carbonio CE. Are there any details about this database, what data does it contain? And if something gets deleted, do you have to do manually clean (purge) or Carbonio do it automatically?
Carbonio Community Edition is designed for smaller single-server deployments. We do not recommend running CE in a multi-server configuration. Frankly, it is not built for that scale, and doing so tends to add complexity and operational issues rather than the stability you would want in production.
For an organization that needs a scalable, multi-server architecture, the right fit is Carbonio (not Community Edition). It is designed for distributed deployments and includes official support and a broader set of features for that kind of setup.
