Hi there,

I tried to install carbonio on ubuntu 20.04 and also on 22.04 with the same result.
I did everything exactly according to this documentation: https://docs.zextras.com/carbonio-ce/html/install/roles/role-mesh-ds.html also tried this version: https://community.zextras.com/forum/postid/6847/

In all cases I start having errors when executing this:

root@carbonio:~# service-discover setup-wizard
Setup of first service-discover server instance
ens18 192.168.20.63/24, fe80::be24:11ff:fe28:ac54/64
Specify the binding address for service discovery: 192.168.20.63/24
Create the cluster credentials password (will be used for setups):
Type the credential password again:
service-discover: error: unable to start service-discover.service: systemd unit startup finished with a code different than 'done'. Systemd returned: failed

It never creates the: /etc/zextras/service-discover/cluster-credentials.tar.gpg file:

root@carbonio:~# ls -l /etc/zextras/service-discover/cluster-credentials.tar.gpg
ls: cannot access '/etc/zextras/service-discover/cluster-credentials.tar.gpg': No such file or directory

This is the 5th opensource groupware solution I try to install as replacement for my zimbra server. But it seems there is not one out there that has install documentation that is really working. Don't know what to do. I'm really stuck.

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried to install using the script that you can download from the documentation? See https://docs.zextras.com/carbonio-ce/html/install/scenarios/single-server-scenario.html
