Thanks, this worked for me on numerous nodes even without ERROR in mysql_error.log. Not sure how this got broken from an upgrade.

apt install carbonio-catalog

pending-setups -a

reboot

After updating to the latest version, I get the following message when logging into my mailbox.

Validation error (UnknownType@[getNotifications/notifications])
Unknown type ‘TransferredOwnership’

Any help?

I got the same situation, for now not sure what to say, only that this might proof that the releases made by Carbonio do not really go a proper testing across the very supported platforms they have. And that is worrisome.

Also in my case I noticed the entire MTA in the UI is shown as empty, and the Postscreen running is showing me:

undefined is not an object (evaluating 'b?.zimbraMtaPostscreenDnsblMinTTL.replace')

I will revert back from a backup to previous version, until they will release an official fix to this mess, or a new release!

@uhl-services   I had the same issue in the Admin Console but also across all of the MTA sub-categories no longer showing my existing Settings (Inbound Flow & Security, Postscreen Tuning, Outbound Flow, Antivirus & Antispam, Advanced).  After numerous attempts to reset each page, doing a zmcontrol restart, or even reboot the Setting would not show properly.  So I got fed-up and decided to 'Send Feedback' using the Chat icon in lower-left corner.  As soon as I went to Send Feedback and clicked ENABLE FEEDBACK - and all the Settings appeared instantly!  But they do not remain after you send your Feedback and logout of Admin Console.  You have to ENABLE FEEDBACK again.  25.9.0 UI is very buggy and needs to be fixed.

@hippiecool I have the EXACT same issue here. Down to every detail you describe.

@hippiecool same here my friend. Exactly the same issue as described. All my MtA values were scrambled with the few missing pages completely.

Thats why I said also the silence here from the admins or support team is speaking out loud a lot. While they brag around Linkedin about the new release they do not jump to brag about the last update who fucked so many peoples instances.

apt install carbonio-catalog
pending-setups -a

Hi, everyone. I can confirm that solution above works. But looks like this package was never on my system earlier. I have single-node installation, Ubuntu 22. Upgraded from previous version 25.6.0

I didn't have mysql errors, but in nginx logs were these lines

2025/10/09 07:03:31 [error] 4386#4386: *27958 recv() failed (104: Connection reset by peer) while reading response header from upstream, client: xxx, server: xxx.xxx.com, request: "GET /zx/login/v3/account HTTP/2.0", upstream: "http://127.78.0.1:20008/zx/login/v3/account", host: "xxx.xxx.com", referrer: "https://xxx.xxx.com/carbonio/"
2025/10/09 07:03:31 [error] 4386#4386: *27958 recv() failed (104: Connection reset by peer) while reading response header from upstream, client: xxx, server: xxx.xxx.com, request: "GET /services/catalog/services HTTP/2.0", upstream: "http://127.78.0.1:20012/services", host: "xxx.xxx.com", referrer: "https://xxx.xxx.com/carbonio/"

Same here, but i can't recall if this behavior happened earlier, bc i don't use admin interface. Actual postfix configuration wasn't impacted.

It would be nice to receive some feedback for this issue from support or dev team. Thanks

@arukashi I think the upgrade from 25.6 or older introduced carbonio-catalog as I see it in the link below, I checked my original install notes and didn't install it either.  My bad for not paying closer attention and not sure how it would be missing if it was an dependency.   But releases should be seamless and QA tested.  Again, radio silence from Zextras Support is deafening.

Well, it wasn't clear in upgrade manual that this package is crucial dependency, i documented every single update. Anyway, it works, I guess zextras team should either update the documentation or push the fix to the repo.

The funny thing is that the problem happened day after the update, so i couldn't catch it on testing site.

In addition, I see following messages from postconf utility, maybe the dev team should take it in consideration for the next fix, thanks

/opt/zextras/common/sbin/postconf: warning: /opt/zextras/common/conf/main.cf: support for parameter "smtpd_use_tls" will be removed; instead, specify "smtpd_tls_security_level"
/opt/zextras/common/sbin/postconf: warning: /opt/zextras/common/conf/main.cf: support for parameter "smtpd_tls_eecdh_grade" will be removed; instead, do not specify (leave at default)
/opt/zextras/common/sbin/postconf: warning: /opt/zextras/common/conf/master.cf: support for parameter "disable_dns_lookups" will be removed; instead, specify "smtp_dns_support_level"

Can anyone verify which services are disabled when doing a systemctl list-unit-files "carbonio*" and inactive dead when doing a systemctl list-units "carbonio*" --all  and why?

I'm confused if 25.9.0 broke things.  Isn't configd a core service that must be started for other services to start?  I'm seeing a lot of SPAM come through and I'm wondering if this release reset or disabled various services on Ubuntu 22.04 build.  I have manually enabled and started the ones I know should be enabled and started but I don't remember having to do so after each release update.

More to the point, which services should always be enabled and started automatically?  I thought it should be all of the services associated with any component that was installed.
