Then root cause is Zimbra was VEY heavily Java based and en_us is pretty common for Java whereas en0us is common for Javascript

this fixed it , thanks for putting me on right track... This account was migrated in from ZIMBRA 8.8.15..... brought bad locale with it I guess....
