Good afternoon. An error occurs while logging in:

JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data - Firefox

Unexpected token '<', "<html> <he"... is not valid JSON - Chrome

I want to describe how to reproduce it. Everything is simple. When trying to log in, we press the "Login" button several times, an error appears. Restarting services helps.

Here's a video: https://youtu.be/0ciqY7xQ0og

clear cookies for your specific server, and it may help.

@dominix In my situation, I am experiencing the same error, which is most likely due to several unsuccessful login attempts. Perhaps a more appropriate prompt could be implemented, such as "Your account has been temporarily suspended" or a similar message indicating a ban.

This is not a ban. Authorization on the server completely stops working for all users.
At 23.5 this was not fixed.

I confirm, a clean installation of version 23.5 on Ubuntu 20.04, after entering incorrect data in the web panel 5 times in a row, authorization is disabled for everyone, and gives an error Unexpected token '<', "<html> <he"... is not valid JSON - Chrome
