The last thing I did

also, incoming letters are not loaded from the server to the imap client. Moreover, if you send a letter from the imap client, then it is delivered without problems

Добрый день. У меня есть два отдельных сервера в моей сети с разными доменными именами. На данный момент я не могу отправлять почту между ними. Хотя оба работают с внешней почтой.

Hi Jontalaev89,

It would be a great help if you could please provide us with a little more details about both servers.

Server-1
####################
hostname -f

cat /etc/hosts

zmcontrol -v

zmcontrol status

Server-2
####################
hostname -f

cat /etc/hosts

zmcontrol -v

zmcontrol status

Also, please send a test mail from server1 to server2 and share the log.

Thank you for your effort and understanding.

Thanks and regards,

Sharif

Hi,

Your information is a bit scattered. Can you write down them in a single reply?

I understand correctly, your two servers are as follows:

Server-1
mail.rinnol.com
Carbonio 22.10.0
Private IP: 192.168.200.11
Public IP: 5.59.140.78
office@rinnol.com

Server-2
mail.gkunion.ru
Zimbra 8.8.9
Private IP:
Public IP: 5.59.140.69
talaeveg@gkunion.ru

Now please could you do one more thing. As you mentioned that you can email external addresses but can't do it between server-1 & server-2, it id most probably, your internal firewall issue or network connectivity issue.

So please do the followings:

Send an email from office@rinnol.com to talaeveg@gkunion.ru

Now do:

grep office /var/log/carobnio.log

You may find some traced messages, and queue ID.

Also grep them like:

Nov 15 0606 mail postfix/cleanup[49071]: AF57C80224: message-id=<403353280.30.1668492243231.JavaMail.zextras@rinnol.com>
Nov 15 0606 mail postfix/qmgr[4168]: AF57C80224: from=<office@rinnol.com>, size=3229, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Nov 15 0606 mail postfix/smtp[49072]: AD6D080225: to=<talaeveg@gkunion.ru>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10032, delay=3, delays=0.07/0.01/0.02/2.9, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 from MTA(smtp:[127.0.0.1] 250 2.0.0 Ok: queu>
Nov 15 0606 mail postfix/qmgr[4168]: AD6D080225: removed

grep AD6D080225 /var/log/carbonio.log

Grep all ID until you get the remote end relay=AA.BB.CC.DD:25, address.

Let us know your feedback.

Thanks and regards,

Sharif

Hi,

Thanks again.

Let me show some issues.

1. Your last log says "Passed CLEAN {RelayedInternal}" but it is not an internal email. because you sent mail from server1 to server2

2. When server1 delivers the mail to gkunion.ru it actually delivers to itself, as it shows in the relay:

to=<talaeveg@gkunion.ru>, relay=mail.rinnol.com[192.168.200.11]:7025, delay=13, delays=0.65/0.16/5.5/7.1, dsn=2.1.5, status=sent (250 2.1.5 Delivery OK)

So I think you need to check your server configurations, and surely there are some mishaps.

It looks like, server-1 (mail.rinnol.com) has some sort of instruction to treat domain gkunion.ru as a local domain, or gkunion.ru is somehow hosted/configured in the server-1

Please try to figure this out.

Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks and regards,

Sharif

Thank you. Yes, indeed, both on server1 and server2 are duplicated by the domain. I made server2 a backup, and transferred all domains and mailboxes from server1. On server1, I added the control domain rinnol.com, which is not on server2 Server1 is available at mail.rinol.com I thought that mail from the rinol.com domain would be sent to the gkunion.ru domain, since my dns server has a different address for the server gkunion.ru

Is it possible to make the mail.rinol.com server send mail not to itself, but to a neighboring server with the same domains.
