@anahuac Thank you for the offer, but I am currently quite overloaded with work and can't afford time for testing/debugging. I hope this MTA problem will disappear with the 23.7, which is due next week.
About the (unrelated) port 8472 problem, it is a port used internally for http and is required (IIRC) for the carbonio-appserver package to work correctly. It is an internal communication that never reaches the outside, so you can safely open it in the internal network, if you have a multi-server installation.Β
Today i updated the test machine to 23.7.4 and still no MTA section in carbonio admin panel
Hi, @arman ! In version Carbonio CE 23.7.4 no MTA admin interface. The problem is present and relevant.

Very unsatisfying situation with no reaction from zextras. π
I'm also trying to migrate away from Zimbra OSE but really need access to the pages for configuration. Any word on when it will be fixed?
Environment:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and Carbonio 23.7.0.
A lot of people asking ... No answer... This is not very confidence inspiring. I am aware that carbonio CE ist free but you have to care about the community. Hope you all (devs) are ok?
Hi guys,
Thank you so much for your vibrant presence in our forum.
But we owe you an apology for the inconvenience regarding the MTA panel issue.
Let me tell you something, though Carbonio CE is a community edition product but a growing number of our users are putting their trust in it so we treat it's issues with same importance as Carbonio. But I hope you can understand sometimes in the process of development things get missed out and so far we were trying to figure out this.
The good news is, The MTA panel in Carbonio CE will be available soon in coming releases. As our dev teams are working rigorously I do not want to put any pressure of expectation on them by mentioning any specific release date. But trust on them, it will be the soonest 🙂
Till then thank you so much for being so vocal about all the issues and thanks again for being with us.
Have a good day
🙂
Hi @Md.SharifΒ
thanks for the update and the details. So we are looking forward to a working MTA - panel π
Β
Have a nice day!
Well Seeing as I've also been waiting about two weeks now for anyone from Zextras to reach out and give me a quote for the paid version the whole experience has been awful end-to-end. Unfortunately at this rate I might have to sell my soul to the O-365 wagon.... Like seriously I get CE is free and all but no one reaching out to a customer trying to buy the paid product? Well that's new to me @sharif
Hi,
I am sorry that you had to wait and I am sorry that no one reached out to you so far.
First thing first, about the MTA panel. I have been informed by the devs that "Availability of the MTA panel on CE" has been fixed and it is now on testing phase. So fingers crossed 🤞, you are going to get it after the update from current release (23.7.0) to New release (23.9.0).
About not reaching out to you, could you please send an email to us at marketingerz@zextras.com so that we could help our team to reach out to you.
But again I am really sorry for the inconvenience. But at the same time thankful to you guys, who supported us so far.🙏
Have a great day. Β
🙂
@horobi 23.9.0 should be released later today, based on the information I have.
