migrate to another domain steps (joining)

Hi, I have two domains (domain1.com, domain2.com )on different servers.
I need move all accounts from one domain to another (join them).
Is this correct steps if I migrate domain domain1.com with all his accounts to domain2.com (without COS, ACL, Distributed lists), after that I'll rename all accounts like zmprov ra user@domain1.com user@doamin2.com, then delete domain domain1.com and finaly manually create ACL and distributed lists ?
Is default COS-es for domain2.com properly applied to new renamed accounts?
