Hi,

When migration using Zextras and new accounts are provisioned in the new enviroment, new IDs are also created for those accounts. This makes that I have to reconnect all the outlooks w/zimbra outlook connector (as it uses the user ID to sync).

When migrating a large number of users, this is not practical.

Could I just privision the new accounts "manually" with zmprov ca and forcing it to use the same ID? I know I can do it as I tried it with a random number like "99999999", but I'm afraid this could missed the OpenLDAP db at some point :/

What do you think? In case this is possible:

1) Script the provisioning of accounts forcing the ID to be the same as in the old Zimbra
2) Restore the contentents of each account using ZeXtras migration tool

Is there any reason why this is not done by default by ZeXtras tool?

Thank you very much!
Sebas
