snap is kind of an app store using which you can install various apps. You would have known if it is being used.
use this command to check if any snaps are installed in your system or not:
root@mail:~# snap list No snaps are installed yet. Try 'snap install hello-world'.
Remove it using this command:
root@mail:~# apt remove snapd -y Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required: libfwupdplugin1 squashfs-tools Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them. The following packages will be REMOVED: snapd 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 17 not upgraded. After this operation, 147 MB disk space will be freed. (Reading database ... 119998 files and directories currently installed.) Removing snapd (2.54.3+20.04.1ubuntu0.3) ... Warning: Stopping snapd.service, but it can still be activated by: snapd.socket Processing triggers for man-db (2.9.1-1) ... Processing triggers for dbus (1.12.16-2ubuntu2.2) ... Processing triggers for mime-support (3.64ubuntu1) ... root@mail:~#
You can re-install it if needed:
apt install snapd
About
zmlocalconfig -e zmstat_df_excludes='/dev/loop0:/dev/loop1:/dev/loop2:/dev/loop3:/dev/loop4:/dev/loop5:/dev/loop6'
It worked for me before, but I tested it now and it is not working as it should be. So I guess, it needs deeper investigation.
So for the time being, you can remove snapd and meanwhile if anything comes up regarding zmlocalconfig, you will know.
Hope it helps.
Thank you so much. I was able to get it figured out. Now I have a new problem. There were some Ubuntu updates installed that absolute break Zimbra. I had to roll back a snapshot.
I am on Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS with Zimbra 9.0.0_ZEXTRAS_20220402 (build 20220419075932)
These are the updates that were out there.

I just tried getting the link to the latest download package and the email is not being delivered.
Trying again to send the email I get that "go.zextras.com" does not repsond to https requests so I can not fill out the form again to get the link sent.
This is not the first time it has happened and the procedure to get the link to the download package needs to be simplified.
Can someone please direct me to the webpage where the latest links to the latest downloadable packages are please?

The download links for the packages are these:
RHEL 8 wget download.zextras.com/zcs-9.0.0_OSE_RHEL8_latest-zextras.tgz RHEL 7 wget download.zextras.com/zcs-9.0.0_OSE_RHEL7_latest-zextras.tgz Ubuntu 20 wget download.zextras.com/zcs-9.0.0_OSE_UBUNTU20_latest-zextras.tgz Ubuntu 18 wget download.zextras.com/zcs-9.0.0_OSE_UBUNTU18_latest-zextras.tgz
Hi
Sorry, I forgot to mention that the current Zimbra OS version shown on this page: https://www.zextras.com/thankyou-zextras-build-zimbra is not the version that you get when you download it, it's slightly older.
I'd like to ask @shariful-islam or anyone from Zextras if there's a problem building the latest version of Zimbra and, if so, is there any time line for a release of the patest patch build of Zimbra?
I'm guessing the latest version that I've just downloaded still has problems, while it has the correct date the patch number is P14 - not good and certainly not P25. I've just done a clean test install of that and it's not running at all.
I hope that we can install P23 and old repository, at least.
Some people paid zextras suite licenses. Zextras should prepare the means to constract new clean environment which reffers to old repos.
In short, we can go back the era of Patch 23 immediately.
@calogero I had to downgrade packages to make it run stable - but this downgrade inherits multiple security issues.
I hope that there will be a safe package provided soon.
This is what I did, I strongly advise you against it (proceed at your own risk, turn off the web access, etc. pp.)
yum downgrade zimbra-core-components-3.0.11-1zimbra8.8b1.el8.x86_64 zimbra-jetty-distribution-9.4.18.v20190429-2.r8.x86_64 zimbra-ldap-components-2.0.5-1zimbra8.8b1.el8.x86_64 zimbra-openjdk-13.0.1-1zimbra8.8b1.el8.x86_64
The currently downloadable version is not installable/working? I am getting 220402 (for Ubuntu 18.04) from the repository which should be good?
I have reinstalled Rocky Linux and Zimbra 8.8.15 from website Zimbra
Installation running fine, with versione 9 impossible install Zimbra...
With the help of Team Zextras, have reinstalled Zextras Suite and recovery backup old server...
Not have found solutions for install Zimbra 9
Thank you
@mik Hi, I download the 220402 sometime ago. Works with me.
Currently on Release 9.0.0.ZEXTRAS.20220402.UBUNTU18.64 UBUNTU18_64 FOSS edition.
@Martin Wiertz
Works with you?
By using 220402, could you install zimbra9(By zextras) to the end? It didn't stop midway?
And, after installation, does it works well?
when your OS reboot, without any troubles? These are for example, LSB service doesn't start or zmmailboxd and webapp or Adminwebapps not running?
@funifuni To be correct. I had already an install based on Ubuntu18 en and Zextras. Worked well until the P25 patch. I reverted back to backup with P23 (Zextras installation package from somewhere feb 2022, backup image from May, 25) and upgraded with Zextras 220402 install. No problems what so ever.
I recovered the mail data etc via Zextras suite.
---------------------
OS reboots - no troubles
Zimbra repos - excluded from apt-get
All Zimbra services running
Hope this info helps.
