Emoji Issue

I am running a number of older zimbra boxes on 8.8.8, all the boxes are build the same but half have zextras and half don't. The boxes with Zextras fail to show emoji's in the body of the email and just show code, the other boxes work fine.

Trying to dig about I found a few references to being resolved by editing removed link I don't have chat deployed so don't have this file and there does not seem to be newer version for zextras on these boxes, the cores says it's running 2.14.0 with no updates available.

I have installed this on a working box and then emoji's stop but once removed work again. Can anyone shed any light on how I can resolve this

thank you for contacting us!

I suspect this issue is related to Zimbra installation itself due to the older version being used and there could be missing files in the Zimbra library (such as ./lib/jars/nekohtml-1.9.13.1z.jar).

Our suggestion would be to strongly consider upgrading the server to the latest 8.8.15 Zimbra patch, which will resolve this issues being experienced.

After the Zimbra installation is upgraded on the servers Zextras Suite will be 'unmounted', which you will only need to run the latest Zextras Suite installer again and please make sure to select yes (y) when the following prompt appears:

The 'packages' directory of the installer is not empty, this might be because a
previous version was downloaded in the past. Do you wish to download all
required files again? [Y] y
